Activities
We support people with hearing loss in Derby/Derbyshire with 17 monthly outreach sessions in the community supporting people with advice, hearing aid servicing and to reduce social isolation as well as two sessions weekly in the local hospital. We also have a wide variety of assistive equipment for demonstration and offer training, presentations to groups as well as campaigning for better services
Objects: The Relief Of Those With Acquired Deafness And Of Hard Of Hearing People Resident In The Derbyshire Area And To Ensure That Hearing Impaired People Have The Highest Possible Quality Of Life, Independence In Daily Living Activities And Full Integration Into Society. The Organisation Will Promote The Active Participation Of Hearing Impaired People In Ensuring That This Is Achieved.
