Activities
The orchestra's aim is to give amateur musicians in York and the surrounding area the opportunity to rehearse and perform works from the orchestral repertoire. It is particularly keen to encourage younger players, and many of its soloists are young musicians with links to York.
Objects: The Study And Practice Of Orchestral Music In Order To Foster The Public Knowledge And Appreciation Of Such Music By Means Of Public Performance.
