Para 1.20 | Since the position regarding the ownership of the building has been confirmed with the assistance of the Charity Commission we have been able to let the building and receive a regular income. This has enabled us to make significant grants to organisations within the town. For example we were able to make a grant of £15,000 to Thirsk School (secondary ) for special educational needs facilities. This helped the young people, their families , the school and the wider community by helping the young people deal with their problems. |

NB HSBC CHANGED THE COMMUNITY ACCOUNT TO AN ACCOUNT CALLED CHARITABLE ACCOUNT IN 21/22 THEY ALSO INTRODUCED CHARGES FOR HAVING AN ACCOUNT AND AN ITEM CHARGE PER CHEQUE USED.
