Governance and Management The Choir is an association governed by a Constitution which is kept under continuous review. A Management Committee, all of whom are appointed as Trustees, is elected by the membership on an annual basis at the Annual General Meeting. The Management Committee is augmented by Life Members who have the right to attend meetings but no voting rights. The Management Committee is responsible for the operation of the organisation with regular feedback to, and consultation with, member5. Objectives and activities The aim of the Choir is 'The study and practise of choral music in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance. mainly for charities, and by the presentation of an Annual Concery. Achievements and Performance The organisation has complied with its public benefit obligations through a considerable charity concert programme throughout the year as well as a very successful anpjual concert. We have put extra effort into recruiting new members to counteract the negative impact of COVID during which the organisation ceased operating. The Cornmittee monitors the operational and financial performance on a monthly basis to ensure that we effectively balance our activities between fundraising for others and maintaining a Stable financial position ourselves.
