Financial Review

Financial Review
Review of the charity’s
financial position at the end
of the period
Para 1.21 The position is very sound. Revenue income
continues to outstrip revenue expenditure,
enabling continued improvements to the
Hall.
During the year the Charity has received a
substantial bequest from the will of a local
resident. Plans are in hand to ensure that
these funds are invested in improvements to
the Hall, its surroundings and the Village
Green to improve the services that we can
offer to local residents.
We do not intend this windfall, which will be
supplemented during the next financial year,
to be used to cover day-to-day revenue
expenditure.
Statement explaining the
policy for holding reserves
stating why they are held
Para 1.22 Reserves are held against major
delapidations and unexpected costs.
Amount of reserves held Para 1.22 £25,000

reserves
