(A) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF REDBY AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OF POLITICAL RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES VOLUNTARY ORGANSATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS (B) TO ESTABLISH OR TO SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY CENTRE. |

Community activities: Hire of premises to facilitate local residents to gain access to a range of activities to promote social inclusion, personal and social development. Promotion of community cohesion. Activities include: Dancing, Karate, Gymnastics. Out of school club and breakfast club. table tennis clubs and football club. Fish society meetings Parent and Toddler groups Pilates, yoga, adult dancing Rooms available for meetings or children's parties. Child Minders Club and Youth / Play provision |

The trustees confirm that they have regard and have followed the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit. We have engaged in local consultation to meet ever changing need within the local community. |
Achievements and Performance

The trustees with the support of Sunderland City Council and the North Area Committee accessed S.C.C funding to get essential roof repairs completed to ensure the building continues to offer a much needed service within the local community. The trustees have worked in partnership to create a pilot scheme with a well established local youth and community provider which has been successful. Trustees have also gained National funding via the City of Sunderland to deliver‘warm spaces’community provision. |

The achievements have created a new opportunities for members of the local community to access the building, supporting local need and addressing issues that impact members everyday lives. We have also been able to refer members to other organisations that can advise on accessing cost of living grants / income support and the increasing cost of living. Current hirers of the building continue to provide a service within the local community including breakfast and out of school club for parents who need local child care provision. Offering a range of Leisure pursuits to meet local need

Reserves are held to ensure that there is a minimum of 4 months of funding available in the case of no income being received for a period of at least one quarter. The reserves allows the trustees a buffer in the case there are issues with cash flow. |

The current trustees concerns are in relation to the upkeep of the building as it has been identified that there are major building upgrades that need to be undertaken. This undertaking will be a large ask from trustees as the funds needed to make changes could potentially be quite large. The current trustees are working alongside Sunderland City Council to address issues. |
