## **Achievements and Performance** 

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|The trustees with the support of Sunderland City Council and the<br>North Area Committee accessed S.C.C funding to get essential roof<br>repairs completed to ensure the building continues to offer a much<br>needed service within the local community.<br>The trustees have worked in partnership to create a pilot scheme<br>with a well established local youth and community provider which<br>has been successful.<br>Trustees have also gained National funding via the City of<br>Sunderland to deliver‘warm spaces’community provision.|

The achievements have created a new opportunities for members of the local community to access the building, supporting local need and addressing issues that impact members everyday lives. We have also been able to refer members to other organisations that can advise on accessing cost of living grants / income support and the increasing cost of living. Current hirers of the building continue to provide a service within the local community including breakfast and out of school club for parents who need local child care provision. Offering a range of Leisure pursuits to meet local need

The current trustees are working<br>alongside Sunderland City Council to address issues.|
