Financial review Review of the charity's financial position at the end of the period Para 1.21 A good financial performance that allowed £11,490 to be spent on facility improvement projects, ending with an operating loss of £3,053 compared to an operating loss of £14,347 in the previous year. Total cash funds remain healthy at £65 701. In 2021 one side of the hall needed emergency structural repairs at a total cost of £38,300. A structural appraisal conducted in 2024 concluded that the tlmber frame structure inspected is in an overall acceptable structural condition for its age, with no visual evidence of slgnificant rot on the primary structural members Inspected apart from a few localised areas. However, the inspection was Ilmlted to a relatively small proportion of the overall structure. Therefore the trustees have agreed that a reserve of circa £50,000 should be held in NSIB bonds and the savings account in the event of future emergency structural issues. Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act").
