Para 1.17 and 1.19 ln setting out priorities for the year, we
kept in mind the Charities Commission
Guidance on public benefit at our trustee
meetings. The main activities for the year
included the following:
~ Organising events over the year to
bring people together Including:
Christmas Party, New Years Party
Harvest Festival and Race Nights as well
as quarterly fetes. Highlight of the year
was the Queens Jubilee An event for all
Irby and Bratoft residence and delivering
silver commemorative coins to all the
children. There is also film nights and
quiz nights as well as Hire of the Hall for
activities including taekwondo, a craft
club, men’s wellbeing sessions.
These Activities help people keep in
touch throughout the isolated villages
and homes.

providing a safe environment a risk

safeguarding policy being in place.

to strength since introducing and
managing new events bringing more of
the surrounding communities in touch
with one another. Opening a Facebook
Account has also communicated events
to the wider community and kept people
in touch. Price increases throughout
the year were largely contained keeping
prices more affordable to people on
limited incomes.
