The Scouts’ charitable purpose in the UK and for British Scouting Overseas and overseas branches is ‘to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities’.

Scouting Activities by young persons aged from 6 years to 25 years. Activities included camping, hiking, water sports and educational activities to gain activity, adventurous, challenge and personal awards to ultimately aim to complete their Kings Scout Award

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
The development of young people’s skills so they are able to gain scouting badges and awards as the progress through the different sections of scouting ie beavers, cubs, scouts, explorer scouts and networkers. The development of volunteers so they too can gain recognised training awards (wood badge) as they develop and pass on their skill to the young members .

FINANCIALASSURANCE STATEMENT TH 6 NEWARKSEASCOUTS I have not carried out a formal audit. However. I have examined the account in conjunction with the books and records of 6 Newark Sea Scouts. l am able to report that all the material aspects and proper accounting records have been checked and its evident that some awareness of procedures followed which enabled an understanding of the accounts to be reached. Some receipts were less evident than I would have expected but have discussed this with the Group Chalrman and was satisfied with his explanations. Signed:.
