The objective of the Trust is the provision and maintenance of a Playing Field and Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Stamfordham and its neighbourhood. Tru8tee8 Details of the Trustees are shown in the Administrative details on page 2. There is a representative vacancy for Stsmfordham Young Farmers. Revlow of the Year and Actlvltles The Trustees were able to meet in person on 5 occasions: 26th April 2023 Full trustees 13th July AGM & election of four committee members and representative members 19th October 2023 Full trustees 8th February 2024 Full trustees 25th April 2024 Full trustees One new trustee was welcomed. A cleaner continues to be employed for 8 hours a week with statutory holidays. It is clear, however, that the building requires a deep clean at least twice a year. Small and large maintenance and improvement jobs have been carried out: Hacking off a large area of plaster to the left of the stage has been carried out following further ingress of water during severe weather condits'ons. REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31st MARCH 2024 (Gontinued) Large hirings which have a substantial impact on income: Sloan trophy, Cyclone Challenge and Beaumont Cup Plus other cycle groups using the hall as a base Trustees organised fund raising events; Oktoberfest, Bums Night, St Patrick's Party, Tea with Sants, Monthly Pop Up Cafés, 1 Jumble sale 2 NTC plays Miscellaneous hires include: Children's parties- hall and pavilion Christenings School farm visit packed lunch venue Private parties Funeral wakes 4-day Holiday Club let Stamfordham Primary School rehearsal and venue for Christmas play Hiring of crockerylchair8 etc Wedding receptions - Hall and Playing Field Many thanks to a trustee who worked hard to secure a grant which involved planting 400 trees at the Playing Field and renewing the fence on 3 sides of the field. Many thanks also to the trustee who secured a grant for energy efficient work to be carrled out on the hall. This included: Insulation of new ceiling on main hall LED lights throughout the hall & Stage lighting Draught-proofing Thermal blinds The AV system has continued to be an added incentlve for hirings and events.. Wimbledon Finals The Coronation of King Charles Private events for showing videos and images TV. PPUPRS and MPLC license8 have been acquired which include one TV licence for the Pavilion. The five yearly electrical report was carried out in December 2023 Playing Flold & Pavlllon The roadside perimeter fence was installed by Ricky Charlton as requested by SCC. This was not only for aesthetics but primarily to keep children from running through the hedge onto the road. Stsmfordham Cricket Club have continued their excellent work on maintaining the whole of the Playing Field and Pavilion. The Trustees acknowledge this, are indebted for their voluntary work and grateful for the time they give to the maintenance of the whole facility, Stamfordham Playing Field and Village Hall Reg Charity No 502613 Page5 of 11

Northumberfand H8rftage Vlllage Hall Project The has been continuing throughout the year. This has enabled many senior mernbers of the community to record their rnemories of using the Village Hall as a school building. Flnanc• A deposit account acts as a Reserve Account to ensure funds are available for large expendilure. Interest on this account yielded £1049. The Virgin Money account was closed and funds transferred to the Lloyds account. Mernber Club Lettings have decreased this year Art Club disbanded Less meetings of Ballet and Crafty Reivers Income from non-member user groups is fractionally up on last year. Fundraising income decreased: No New Year's Eve function Oktoberfest income down Grants: Trees and Fencing: £9,820 Energy Efficiency £15,544 Ring-fenced grants from previous years are for the Veterans Breakfast Club, The Village Hall Heritage Project and the redecoration of the West Room (£3000). The deficit of £13,215 for the year is accounted for by the repairs to the roof and pointing of stonework. Although there is a seemingly healthy balance. trustees are minded that there will be a significant draw on funds as there are some large items of refurbishment that will need to be addressed in the next financial year.
