volunteers at the charity were asked to
respond to 324 incidents.
At present the recording system in use has
not been approved formally by the North
West Ambulance Service for recording
patient data. This has resulted in
interventions not being recorded.
Research has demonstrated that 12% of
deaths before hospital are potentially
preventable and there is also likely to be a
reduction in hospital in-patient stay and
long-term morbidity. The model of care
used by the charity is in keeping with the
national model and as a result a reduction
in mortality and morbidity is likely.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 July 2022.

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
