Crowle Community Hall ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE Revlew of tho finan¢lal perlod Dunng the period under review the chanty hes conbnued to provide a very high quality and very useful facilty for the inhabitants of Crowle. wlth a WKle ranging variety of activities Usage of the hall has retumed to pr&pandemic levels and the various user individuals and organisations have proved valuable recreational and 18isura time activities for the partrcipants Regular long-term bookings continue to be an important feature of the use of the hall and these are supplemented by a large number of short-temi bookings by a range of individuals and organisations from both wiihin th8 village and elsewhere. The high quality facilities whlch the hall offers are an attractlon to potsntial users FINANCIAL REVIEW Flnanclal regulatlon• The financial statements have been prepared in 8ccordance with the arKounts'ng policies Set out on page 8 and comply with the constitution and applicable accounting standards. FlnanGlal Mults The finances of the chanty continue to be sattsfactory. Income from hlring the hall was £11,854 Total Incoming resources were £57,433. Totsl resources expended were £78.887 The deficit for the period was £21,454 Pollcy on rwrvg9 The Trustees, Poli on reseDie8 is that monetary re8eNes shall be rnaintsined •quivalent to 6 months, average routine revenue expendrture and that £40,000 shall be shown as a designated fund for the extension. At the financial year-gnd Cash balances amounted to £61,120 which significarrtly exceeded the amount required by the policy. FUTURE PLANS With the increase in energy prices and consumab188 the village hall committee wll need to consider whether to impose an increase in the hourly rate of the hlre of the hall. Although it is an non profft making organisatson the committee will hav8 to ensure that every day village hall expendrture is amply covered by the rental charges in the nèxt financial year. There is some wear and tear on the fabric of the village hall because of the age of the building and the amount of use rt gets and at some stage during the coming financial years the committee may also have to cOnser fund raising and applying for grants to ensure ttie hall is maintsined to its current high standard.
