Social Aid supports charitable activities carried out in connexion with the Church of England in the Diocese of Hereford, particularly: the promotion of temperance and higher standards of moral life in individuals, family and community; the restoration of the intemperate or delinquent and those addicted to drugs, alcohol or gambling or otherwise needing help; the relief of the consequent distress.
Objects: 1. The Promotion Of Healthy Physical And Spiritual Lifestyles In The Individual, The Family And The Community;2. The Support Of Those Suffering From Chemical Or Behavioural Addictions, Or Otherwise In Need Of Help;3. The Relief Of Distress Or Suffering Arising From Chemical Or Behavioural Addictions To Restore Physical And Spiritual Wellbeing; And 4. The Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty In The Diocese Of Hereford By Providing Grants To Individuals In Need And/or Charities, Or Other Organisations Working To Prevent Or Relieve Poverty.
