Notes to the Statement of Assets and Liabilities

(i) Policy, unless stated otherwise, is that fixed assets are written down in full in the year of acquisition. SCS owns the following physical assets which have zero book value.

Item & Location Year Cost
Acquired £
Staging, Stafford Grammar School 2008 650.95
Staging, Stafford Grammar School 2014 3,630.00
Hot Water Urn, Entrust 2017 72.00

Handrails, trolleys, chair stops, Stafford Grammar School 2023 3,018.08

(ii) For simplicity, and to reduce unnecessary work, all elements of the 200 Club finances, apart from the net change in worth have now been extracted from the main accounts. Consequently, all that will be shown in income is 200 Club Contribution. The treasurer relies upon any peculiarities in 200 Club, such as accruals/deferrals, uncashed cheques Etc., to be dealt with within those accounts and portrays here simply closing bank balance minus opening bank balance.
