THE HERON THEATRE INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE MEMBERS OF THE HERON THEATRE Y•ar end•d 31 May 2024 I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 May 2024 whith are set out on pages 6- RESPECTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRUSTEES AND EXAMINER The tharivs trustees are responsible for the preparatKJn of Ihe accounts in aC<￿rdanCe with the Chariiies Act 2011. The chariiy's trustees consider that an audit is not required this year utmkr section 144 of the Act and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsits'lty to: - examine the accounts under sedion 145 of the Charities Art - to follow the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission (under secaion 145(5Xb) of the Act), and - to state whether particular matt8rs have come to my attention. BASIS OF INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S STATEMEpir My examination was carried out in accordance wtth general Diredions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a revlew of the axounting re￿rdS kept by the charity arKI comparison of the ac￿untS presented with those records.
