Activities
The Trust is primarily for the benefit of assisting towards the cost of school clothing for secondary school pupils. This is under review with the aim of adding in other funds and updating activities.
Objects: 1. AN ANNUAL SUM OF ú300 OR SUCH OTHER AMOUNT AS THE CHARITY COMMISSIONERS FROM TIME TO TIME APPROVE TO BE APPLIED IN OR TOWARDS PROVIDING BAND CONCERTS IN THE PLEASURE GROUNDS OF THE BOROUGH OF THAMESDOWN. 2. PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR EDUCATION INCLUDING HIGHER EDUCATION FOR PERSONS OF EITHER SEX RESIDENT IN THE BOROUGH OF THAMESDOWN, BY WAY OF SCHOLARSHIPS, BURSARIES, MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES OR GRANTS. 3. PROVIDING FINANCIAL OR OTHER ASSISTANCE TO ENABLE BENEFICIARIES TO PREPARE FOR OR TO ENTER A PROFESSION TRADE OR CALLING.
