In this financial period, LHTF gave the following grants: £775 to CONSCIENCE for core costs. £10,000 to the educational charity PARALLEL HISTORIES for its work in schools. Michael Mears £4600 for the touring production of his play THE MISTAKE. £IOOO to David Gee towards his website'BeforeYouSignUp'. LHTF Forwarded funds from the Co-op to Demilitarise after a payment of £29172 went astray. Forwarded £3000 from Southall Trust to Global Campaign on Military Spending {GCOMSI. ICONSCIENCE, Michael Mears, David Gee, Demilitarise and GCOMS are not charities.] LHTF operates two bank accounts, the Co-operative Bank (Co-op) and Triodos. Jewellery from the Nancy Ada Campbell bequest was sold for £901 by Kathy Hindle All funds transferred were covered by memoranda of understanding, as required by the Charity Commission. We operated within our stated charity objective We also required reports of completed projects, which were then reviewed by Trustees. See Appendix I for SOFA and Balance Sheet 2023-2024.
