CHARITY OBJECTIVE:
The charitable objective of LHTF is to odvonce educotion in thefield OA the nonviolent
tronsfvrmation of conflirt at all levels, and to promote reseorch fvr the public benefit in all aspects
of thot subjert ond to publish the usefvl results with porticularfvcus on the pursuit of peace and
justice through nonviolent means.
New trustees are appointed by the existing trustees, after advertising vacancies in papers such as
'The Friend,.
In this financial period, LHTF gave the following grants:
£775 to CONSCIENCE for core costs.
£10,000 to the educational charity PARALLEL HISTORIES for its work in schools.
Michael Mears £4600 for the touring production of his play THE MISTAKE.
£IOOO to David Gee towards his website'BeforeYouSignUp'.

Forwarded funds from the Co-op to Demilitarise after a payment of £29172 went astray.
Forwarded £3000 from Southall Trust to Global Campaign on Military Spending {GCOMSI.

LHTF operates two bank accounts, the Co-operative Bank (Co-op) and Triodos.
Jewellery from the Nancy Ada Campbell bequest was sold for £901 by Kathy Hindle
All funds transferred were covered by memoranda of understanding, as required by the Charity
Commission. We operated within our stated charity objective We also required reports of completed
projects, which were then reviewed by Trustees.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ("the Trust.) for the yeai ended
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation
basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Ad
2011 {"the Act.).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
I have completed my examination. I confimi that no material matters have
come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me
cause to believe that in. any material respect..
