The charty organises a range of events throughout the year to promote social interaction and address loneliness within the local community and surrounding area8. These activities include the Warm Welcome space. seasonal fayres, and quiz nights. The W8rm Welcome Space oparates during the winter months for a perlod of three to four months, providing comfortable environment where visitors are welcomed warmly. Guests may enjoy a selection of complimentary hot and cold refreshments, supported by various funding 80urce8. During the Warm WelGome Space initiative, the charily invltes representatives from different organlsations to offer support and advic8 to vulnerable community members. For instsnce, the Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk has p8rticipated with its "Beat Your Bills. campaign. Situated near King's Lynn and bordered by 17 villag8s, Tilney All Saints is ideally located to serve as a hub for these gatherings. Additionally, Tilney All Saints Village Hall is identified a8 one of only two community assets in the neighbourhood plan. Section D Achievements and performance For the third consecutNe year, our Warm Welcome Space remained the only venue of its kind in the local area, consistently offering a welcoming environment on a weekly basis. Attendees were provided with complimentary hot and cold food and beverages. Approximately 50 unique individuals accessed the Warm Welcome Space, with an average of 17 participants per sassion and regularly over 25 hot meals 8ervod during each meeting. Summary of the main aGhievomoRts of tho charity during theYr The primary objective of the Warm Welcome Space was to create an inviting atmosphere where individuals coukl enjoy free refreshments and recelve support as needed. A "Baat Your BIIIS s8ssion, hosted by the Borough Council of King'8 Lynn and West Norfolk, was highty successful and well reived. During this event, attendees benefited from advice and assistance, including tailored support for several vulnerable households. with follow-up inlended. Due to the positiv8 Outcomes, the Warm Welcome Spac8 continu8d in tha fom of an "Elevenses and Chat" gathering, and West Norfolk Befriendlng offered slmllar sessions. Visilors attended the Warm Welcome Sp8ce for various reasons, 8uch a8 seeking social interaction, alleviating feelings of loneline88 or isolation, and addrassing financial hard8hip. Most participants engaged in sociali8ation, taking advantage of the opportunity to meet with fr18nds, family members, and peers to 8hare ideas and discuss their experiences and surroundings. Many sought emotional support and reassurance through Gonnection with others. The Warm Welcome Space ha8 contribul8d significantly to fost8ring friendship, companionship, and empathy within the village and its surrounding area. Tilney All Saints Villaga Hall ha8 installad free solar pane18, inverter, and batterigs, greatly reducing energy bills. Therefore, we won't need to raise hire charges, making our venue both affordable and 8U8tainabl8. We raised 150A of our income this year through fundraising activities. Our careful stewardship of resource8, coupled with the continued generosity of supporters and volunteers, has enabled us to deliver on our objectives while keeping our services acces8ibl8 to all. Tha implementation of energy-saving ma8sur8s has lessened financial pr888ures and supported our commitment to 3U8tslnabillty. Half the sum of the annual income from the hire of the hall should be set aside to cover costs in the event of 6 months lack of income. 3. I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/03/2025 .
As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
