Scouts Banning RMING SCOUT AND GUIDE GROUP Trustees Annual Report for the year ended 31 Mar¢h 2024 MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE YEAR Barming Scout and Guide Group is a family group accommodating both Scouting and Guiding units, from Beavers and Rainbows up to Scouts and Rangers. The Group promote5 Scouting and Guiding in the Barming area of Maidstone Group numbers are still strong which is encouraging but there is a continuiro need for more Leaders throughout the Group. All the unit leaders and helpers hav8 b88n very busy organising an increase in activities, inGluding camps, wellies and wristbands, the activty day and the gang show, The Group's prinGipal sour8 of income ace sub8criptions, credits from paper recycling and hire of the hall and equipment. Despite the reduction in revenue caused by the Playschool vacating the hall. we managed to keep subscription charges for our members at the same level as last year We carried forward from 2022123 just under £54k.
