Forthe period covered by thi5 AGM we have cotnpleted our flrst full year. This has been a period ol thange and adjustment on a local level. Our blggest a55et, Harry's Island continues to go from Strength to strength. There is great tearn of people ensuring all runs smoothly.1t is always fully booked well in advance nd the income generated allows us to keep eur rnembership fees low and also, we can support a nurnber of projects such 85 grant5 for those going to the World jamboree. The Appointments Committee has held numerous Welcome Chats and so we have been able to SUPPDrt the safe recruitment prartices requlred by the Scout AsscciatKin. My thanks to atl who supportthls. We are hopeful havlng found some new Leader5 at Forres Sandle at thls Cub Pack wlll reopen in September 2023. 1st year we have managed te suc¢e551ully open Squirrel Dreys at 2M Copythorne and 5 )d. We have managed to recruk new leaders in to asslst In SUPPOfting theso xrtion5. e plans for 2 rnore Dreys soon. '$ havè all ruri èvents fvrthe Olstrict 8eaver's Cubs and Scouts and the attendance at nts is continuing to grow. The Magellan Unit partnered with 2nd Copythorne are running an event e Gambia during the Summer holiday period. IP5ite Harry's Island coritinues to have very high bookings the current year and season already over 75% full.
