Legal Status The Charity was established by trust deed dated 29th February 1952 Object, Policies and Organisation The object ol the Charity is lo provide and maintain the Eveisley Village Hall for the benefit of the inhabilanls of th8 Eversley cornmunily without di5tiriclion of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings. lectures and classes, and for other forms of recrealion and leisuig-lime occupation, with the purpose ol impioving the quality ol life. The hall is available for hire by any individual or orgg*nisalion in aceord8nce wllh Ihe standard hlring agreement and scale of charges at the time. Risk Assessment The Committee of Management believes that systems ale in place lo miligale the rnajor risks lo which tho Charity may be exposod. A review of 811 policies is carried out annually and policies are updated as required. Building and Maintenance A programme ol continuous maintenance is undertaken lo ensuie th81 the fabric of the building is not compromi59d Ihiough weal and lear and that the interior appearance ol the halls is kept in good order. Fundrai8ing and Communlty events held during the year 2 gvenls were held duTing the ye&r being King Charles Coronation and Parish Council Assembly Awards. Finances The Commi1188 15 presenting the Independently Examined Accounts for the year ended 30 Seplember 2023. These accounts show the state of the finances a130 September 2023, which the cornmitlee considers to be satislaclory. The committee reviews the level of income reserves at ils regular meetings and does not make investments or give grants.

EVERSLEY VILLAGE HALL CHARITY INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT Year Ended 30 September 2024 INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF VICTORIA HALL CHARITY I report lo the Trustees on my examination of the accounts of the Trust for the year ended 30 September 2024 which are sel out on pages 6 10 8. Responslbilities and basis of report As the charity Iruslees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Chaiilies Act 2011 I'lhe Acl'l. You are satisfied that an audit is not required for this year un(Jer charity law and that an independent examination is needed. I report in iespecl of my examination of the Trust's accounts caTried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed 811 the applicable Directions given by the Charity Comrllission under section 14515llbl of the Act. An independent examination does not involve gathering all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently does not cover all the matters that an auditor considers in giving their opinion on the accounts. The planning and conduct of an audit goes beyond the limited assurance that an independent examination can provide. Consequently, l express no opinion as lo whether the 8CCOLJnls present a 'true and fair, view and my report is limited to those specific mallers set out in the independent examinerfs statement. Independent examiner's statement l am qualified to undertake the examirkation by being a qualified member of Ihe Institute of Chailered Accountants in England and Wales. I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe Ihat in any material respect.. 1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the A¢l,' or 2. the accounts do not accord wilh those records.
