Re istered Chari Number: 301786 11 This charity is registered with the Charities Commission in England and Wales and is govemed by a scheme registered on 10 May 2000. The object of the charity is the provision and Maintenan of a village hall for use by the inhabitants of the Parish of Colbury and the surrounding neighbourhood, including use for: a) meetings, lectures and classes, and b) other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants. Trustees Trustees who served during the year: David Bryant (Chair) Caroline Hubbard (WI Chair) Jacqueline Bonnin Charlotte Bryant Mary Bryant David Charmer Tim Richardson Kevin Smith During the past year the Committee continued to maintain the Hall to a high standard undertaking repairs and redecoration following the water damage in 2023. The trustees are continuing to improve and maintain the structure of the building and are looking into energy saving initiatives and rep1arnent of doors. The Hall was widely used throughout the year by the local community. Overall the charity is in a good financial position with some savings which are to support our ongoing improvement and maintenance work. The Committee feels it has a responsibility to keep sufficient reserves of £10,000 to ensure repairs as neSSary can be undertaken to keep the Hall maintained in accordance with local and national regulations, and in the condition which the hirers would wish to find it. I declare, in my capacity of Chairman of the Charity Trustee Committee for Colbury Memorial Hall, that the trustees have approved the report and have authorised me to sign it on their behalf.
