| Summary ofthe main achievements ofthe charity during the year |
As in the previous year the activities at the Village Hall were substantially affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Although the Hall was partially opened from 7September 2020 itwas not fully reopened until19 July 2021.Many regular hirers did not return until September 2021.The income was, therefore, substantially reduced during the 12 months to 31 January 2021 as only 824,692was received against f42,425 in the year immediately prior to the pandemic. Fortunately, we received F19,673 in government Grants and together with the f10,000 annual payment from Hanson Aggregates we ended with a surplus off14,038for the year. |
