|Summary ofthe main<br>achievements<br>ofthe charity<br>during the year||As in the previous year the activities at the Village Hall were substantially<br>affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.<br>Although<br>the Hall was partially<br>opened from 7September 2020 itwas not fully reopened<br>until19 July<br>2021.Many regular hirers did not return<br>until September 2021.The<br>income was, therefore,<br>substantially<br>reduced<br>during the 12 months to 31<br>January 2021 as only 824,692was received against f42,425 in the year<br>immediately<br>prior to the pandemic.<br>Fortunately,<br>we received F19,673 in<br>government<br>Grants and together<br>with the f10,000 annual<br>payment<br>from<br>Hanson Aggregates<br>we ended<br>with a surplus<br>off14,038for the year.|
|||However,<br>despite the above-mentioned<br>restrictions<br>there some|
|||achievements<br>during the year as follows;<br>1) The former Parish Office was refurbished<br>and subsequently<br>hired|
|||out.|
|||2) The new website was set up and became operational.<br>3) The 5yearly Electrical Review was carried out. No major works|
|||were needed.|
|||4) The CCCTV system was reviewed.<br>5) A Health 8 Safety Review was carried out. Only minor problems|
|||were outlined.|
|||6) 6 Monthly<br>reviews ofthe fire alarm systems were carried out.|
