Section D Achievements and performance

Chairman’s report

Summary of the main A year which has seen a slow return to some sort of normality with the gradual easing achievements of of Covid restrictions. That has given the opportunity to allow the hall to be reopened the charity during and offered to hires for weddings, parties and meetings. Also the regular user groups the year ,Brownies ,Guides,Morden Minis and Bowls have been able to return.

Youth football clubs Greywood and Poole Town are continuing to use the field, and I fully appreciate all the time and effort put into the maintenance of the field.

We as a committee have continued to provide a wide range of activities for the village, some more popular than others. Community Lunches are well attended and much appreciated, a big thank you to Claire and Maddy.

Our delayed 50th anniversary party was also enjoyed by a good crowd. The summer saw a very entertaining and hilarious single wicket cricket tournament and BBQ.

Regular games evenings are another effort to engage with the community.

Finally, I would like to thank committee members for all they do and the support they've given me over the past year. .However we are still small in number and for the hall to continue to prosper members of the community need to come forward and serve as volunteers. No volunteers No hall!!
