1[st] Lym Valley Scout Group Trustees Annual Report For the year ended 31[st] March 2021

Major Activities and Achievements in the Year

This year has been very unusual, with Covid restrictions, Lockdowns and general disruption from the Pandemic. Some scouting was possible, but there was limited use of the Scout Hut, and very little fundraising.

However, with numerous Grants received, we have actually had a very strong year financially, which means we have healthy funds going forwards We continue to let out the scout hut to a number of different user groups and for camps and private parties. This helps cover the general upkeep of the hut. The Group is a Trust established under its rules which are common to all groups.

Trustees are appointed in accordance with the Policy, Organisation & Rules of The Scout Association.

The Accounts have been drawn up on the receipts and payments basis which is consistent with the previous year.
