Pur oses of Charl To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parishes of Twyford and Ruscombe {hereinafter called "the area of benefit") without dlstinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinlons by assoclatin8 the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants. Summa of Maln Artivitie5 The Association continues to provide the community With the facilities to pursue Leisure Time activity. We have been able to maintsin the membership numbers with a substantial increase in numbers this year. The Association has continued to support social and bar functions in the Hall bringing in a healthy surplus to our funds. The Association intends to applyfor grants for improvements to the Hall facilities from external sources to help in this endeavour. Pagelof5

Statement with Re rd to Public Benefft The trustees consider that the Association fully complies with the Charity Commission's requirement to demonstrate the provision of benefit to the public. That this requirement and the Charities, objectives as stated above are met is amply demonstrated. on Grant Makin From time to time the Association may 8ive concessionary membership for members in need or as an incentive to participate in the activities. Constituent body status Is given to local voluntary organisations with a discount. Poll on Social Investment Although the Association has no fixed agenda wlth the Youth, it takes every opportunity to engage with the Youth Ilke Scouts, ChIld￿n,5 music lessons, Children's taekwondo etc. etc. to foster generational links. The Assoclatlon positively encourages younger community members to participate in the Association. ntrlbution made Volunteers Contributions made by Volunteers (members) come in many different forms. The maln categories are Administration, General maintenan￿ and Bar Support. The Association benefits from only having one member of staff and all other activities being carried out by volunteers. The consolidation of the costs associated with services such as Gas, Electric and water. 2. Our main concerns are the Loss of Revenue from Hall Activities, Lack of Members and Rising costs which all affect the finances. Without a good income stream the events the Association offers will not be viable. Unknown is the future demand for this type of facility in the community.
