The BSSC would like to express its gratitude for the help and support it has received from volunteers, villagers, sports clubs and the Parish Council in order for us to continue to provide and develop the playing fields and putting on events such as the Fireworks and Party In The Park. The BSSC could not provide this service without the continued support of the village and local residents.

Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
The BSSC carried out several events during 2022/2023, such as Blunhamfest, Fireworks and the Christmas Lights Switch on; these events engaged the wider community and were put on with the support of many local orgnaising, such as the Village Hall, Parish Council, Chuch, The Horseshoes Pub, Blunham Football Club and Blunham Cricket Club. Fundraising this year across the events has been successful in ensuring the necessary funding to enable the charity to maintain a financially secure level of funding to meet the increased ongoing maintenance costs of the facilities and to provide funds to support future developments.
Invested in youth football goals and secure lockup for Blunham Youth Footbal Club to ensure their equipment was stored safely. This allowed Blunham Cricket Club to have its own lockup, opening up more space for clubs to buy further equipment.
