The principal activity is the relief of persons suffering from Alzheimer's disease, related disorders and other forms of dementia by providing support or subsidising facilities for the care and accommodation of such persons. At present, the Charity is principally engaged in running Vale House, a specialist dementia care facility based in Littlemore, Oxford .

Objects: 4 The Charity’s Objects (‘Objects’) Are Specifically Restricted To The Following:4.1 To Care For People With Dementia However Severe Or Complicated;4.2 To Support The Families Of People Living With Dementia; 4.3 To Participate In Research Better To Understand The Causes And Treatment Of All Types Of Dementia; 4.4 To Teach The Skills Required For The Care Of Dementia And Reach Out To The Wider Community To Promote Best Practice; And4.5 To Develop An Outreach Service For Support Of Families Caring For Relatives With Dementia.
