The CO and 2IC consider applications as they are made against guidelines agreed by the Trustees and against the budget agreed by the Trustees each year and can react immediately to worthy cases. Welfare grants or loans are aimed at specific bills that are freshly raised as the result of misfortune. Grants and loans are not given to maintain a lifestyle that is at risk due to reduced income. The intention is to build the fund, using the reclaimed tax element and income from investments for the funding of grants. The Trust should live within its means and not make up for the inadequacies of the military system. |

The CO and 2IC consider applications as they are made against guidelines agreed by the Trustees and against the budget agreed by the Trustees each year and can react immediately to worthy cases. Welfare grants or loans are aimed at specific bills that are freshly raised as the result of misfortune. Grants and loans are not given to maintain a lifestyle that is at risk due to reduced income. The intention is to build the fund, using the reclaimed tax element and income from investments for the funding of grants. The Trust should live within its means and not make up for the inadequacies of the military system. |
