Activities

The Club has existed since 1903 to teach all members to use firearms safely & and to a high standard of competence. We accept people of all ages and capabilities and of either gender.We accept wheel chair bound people where this is compatible with out range capabilities and are developing a facility for blind shooters. We have strong links with the Scout Movement and local High Schools.

Objects: To Encourage Skill In Rifle And Pistol Target Shooting By Providing Instruction, Practice And Comptition At Local. County And National Level In The Safe Use Of Small-Bore, Full Bore And Air Target Rfiles And Pistols To Any Of Her Majesty's Subjects That They Will Be Better Fitted To Serve Their Country In The Armed Forces. Territorial Army Or Any Other Organistation In Which Their Services May Be Required In The Defence Of The Realm In Times Of Peril.
