Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

The charity ran a number of fundraising events during the year including an Auction of Promises, Kids Virtual Disco, Cookbook sale, World Book Day, Fictional Face Hunt, Apple Juice and Christmas Trees sales and a few lockdown classroom initiatives. In addition to raising funds these have also extended relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school.

We were also successful in Grant application to a local organisation which enabled us to make some contributions to the school.

The funds have been used to purchase teaching resources and curriculum spend, music and library provision and support playground and other outdoor improvements.

We have also been able to set aside money from our closing funds to cover a significant fundraising gap relating to social distancing rules due to COVID-19 in 2021-22.
