Our focus is fundraising to provide facilities for education not provided from statutory funds to benefit all current and future pupils of Roundwood Primary School **Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)** ## **Additional details of objectives and activities (Optional information)** You **may choose** to include further statements, where relevant, about: - policy on grantmaking; - policy programme related investment; - contribution made by volunteers. **TAR** March **2012** 3 ## Section D Achievements and performance **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** The charity ran a number of fundraising events during the year including an Auction of Promises, Kids Virtual Disco, Cookbook sale, World Book Day, Fictional Face Hunt, Apple Juice and Christmas Trees sales and a few lockdown classroom initiatives. In addition to raising funds these have also extended relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school. We were also successful in Grant application to a local organisation which enabled us to make some contributions to the school. The funds have been used to purchase teaching resources and curriculum spend, music and library provision and support playground and other outdoor improvements.
