Para 1.17 and 1.19 |
During the reporting year, the PTFA organised a range of fundraising and community events to support the education and wellbeing of pupils and to strengthen relationships between parents, staff and the wider school community. Activities included fundraising events open to pupils, families and the local community, which helped to raise funds and encourage engagement with the school. These events included: second hand uniform and book sales, cake sales, a talent show, aquathlon, craft workshops, music concerts and a Christmas gift evening. In addition, PTFA members gave their time by volunteering at local community events, in return for donations that supported the work of the association. The PTFA also applied for external grants to further support its work for the benefit of the pupils. Funds, donations and grants were used to provide resources, equipment and activities that enhanced the pupils’ educational experience, as detailed in the accounts. |

Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | During the reporting year, the PTFA continued to play a vital role in enhancing the educational experience and wellbeing of pupils at the school. Through a range of fundraising events and activities, the charity successfully raised funds that were used to directly benefit all children attending the school. The funds raised enabled the PTFA to contribute towards essential resources and enrichment opportunities that fall outside the school’s core budget. These included support for educational materials, improvements to learning and play environments, and contributions to curriculum enrichment activities such as the continued provision of Forest School. The PTFAs biggest achievement during the year was funding and installing new playground equipment, providing improved outdoor play facilities for pupils. As a result, pupils have benefited from enhanced learning experiences, increased access to equipment and resources, and opportunities that support both their academic development and personal wellbeing. |
