The objectives of The Opportunily Group (Frome and District) are to enhance Ihe development and education of children under slalulory school age by encouraging parents to undersland and provide for Ihe needs of their children through community groups and by.. al offering appropriate play facilities and training courses, together with the right of parents to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of such groups, ensuring that such groups offer opportunities for all Ghildren, regardless of race, culture, religion or means, and., bl encouraging the study of the needs of such children and their families and promoting public interest in and recognition of such needs in the local areas.c) investigating and adhering to and furthering the aim of the pre-school playgroups association.Al The Opportunity Group (Frome and District) our mission is 'Striving for Excellence in Early Years,. The Trustees acknowledge that as some of us are parents of children at The Opportunity Group (Frome and District) we have an indirect benefit from the charity and thus a conflict of interest arises in certain circumslances. During the financial period, no discussions or decisions have taken place to which the trustees have been conflicled. Achievements and Performance SORP reference The Nursery continues to provide a good level of progress in the learning and development of the Children so that they achieve the National Standards set by OFSTED and are prepared for their entry to mainstream education. The Trustees and Management Committee wish it to be plad on record that the success of The Opportunity Group (Frome and District) is altributable to the hard work of all the Staff of the Nursery.
