Structure and details of how it is managed

The charity has three chairs and three other trustees of equal standing per above. All the above trustees were appointed in October 2023. Other changes during the year involved the resignation of the following in October 2023: Clare Hartley-Hodge Katharine Hannah Brookbank Lindsay Ann Abley Katherine Falconer

How it recruits trustees

The trustees were found via requests to parents of the school. Additional trustees will be recruited via local advertising if and when required.

Activities and objectives in the year

The charity delivered a number of fundraising events during the year including a barn dance, fireworks night, cinema, roller disco, bingo night, colour run, summer party and many others. Additionally, the charity provided funding to pay for new school play hut, various tips and treats for the children, hoodies for the school leavers and curtains for the school hall.

Achievements and performance, including reporting on its public benefit

The trustees regularly meet and review performance and the charity is deemed to have me its public benefit through the various organised events. These provided fun and entertainment for the school children, parents, teachers and the local community. These were over and above what would usually have been provided by the school directly. The events helped to foster closer bonds between parents, teachers and the wider community. The schoolteachers were invited to (and attended) regular meetings with the trustees throughout the year to ensure a close working relationship.

• The charity income exceeded its payments obligations for the period.

• • Surplus funds are held within the bank account as a reserve to provide benefits in future and help with the costs of fundraising.

Hope all well!!

I think these will be fine now….as per when we caught up, as long as they correctly reflect walk from last years end position, which they materially did anyhow… was just a small tweak needed… then all good!
