TO BE APPROPRIATED AND USED IN PERPETUITY AS A VILLAGE HALL READING ROOM CLUB AND BU5LDINGS FOR ANY PURPOSES TENDING TO THE AMUSEMENT RECREATION INSTRUCTION OR BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS AND RESIDENTS WITHIN THE PARISH OF NINFIELD. Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document CONVEYANCE DATED 28TH FEBRUARY 1921 AS AMENDED BY RESOLUTION DATED 11 APR 2022 Main activities are use of the hall for meetings, lectures, and classes or other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the social conditions of the life of the inhabitants. The Trustees consider these objectives lo be consistent with Charity Commission guidance on providing for the publi benefit of the hall as showing in the list of activilies pursued this year. The hall is in use most days of the week for a variety of activities including.. pre-school play group, Cub Scouts, Badmington Club, Keep Frt Group, Art Group, Games aftemoons, Films, Flower Group, Horticultural Group. It is ambition to look for more economic and dynamic ways lo run the hall, with the aim to reduce costs going forward. The trustees are commilled to keeping the hall in good repair and lo be able to manage any unforeseen circumstan$ should they arrive. The objective for 202314 is to prepare a schedule of ongoing repairs to inform the revised reserves policy. You may choose to include further statements, where relevant, about.. policy on grantmaking., policy programme related investment., contribution made by volunteers. With the success of the increase in external bookings for the hall, the trustees will also review the pricing schedule in line with its aims to improve access and social conditions for local residents. Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity durlng the year The new kitchen has encouraged a new village Baking Group and also now provides facilities for larger catering opportunities - lunches, afternoon teas, suppers alongside quizzes and other hall events. The new toilets, upstairs room and Overall upgrade of the entrance hall has encouraged parties for all age groups to book the hall and large weddings have enjoyed the benefit ofweekend hire. The hall has gained profile and increased revenue, doubling hall booking income from the previous year. Section E Financial review It is the trustees policy to maintain unrestricted reserves of beeen 20 and 25 % of annual revenue. With completion of the big build, the reserves policy will be reviewed in 2022123 following approval of the final accounts. I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 30 / 09 / 2023 .

Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
