-
Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
-

ENGLEFIELD CE SCHOOL PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION
TRUSTEES' ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31ST AUGUST 2024
Charity registration number:
286442
Address: Englefield CE Primary School, The Street, Englefield RG7 5ER
Trustees:
Mrs F Cheney (Chair) Miss K Fox Mrs N Jackson Mrs A Tomes
Structure, governance & management
The charity is an unincorporated Parent Teacher Association and is governed by its Constitution. All parents and teachers are members of the charity. Trustees are appointed at the AGM in accordance with the Constitution (updated October 2019) and are drawn from the membership of the PTA.
Object of the charity
The object of the Association is to advance the education of the pupils of Englefield CE School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school.
Activities undertaken during the year
We had a great year fundraising for the school, we were able to hold a variety of events incorporating not only the children with our autumn party, bake sales, break the rules day, rainbow raffle, but also families at our Christmas and summer fetes. We were also able to put on a bingo and bubbles night for adults only. It’s been a great year and we have had a wonderful level of support from the teachers and parents alike!
Reserves policy
It is the charity's policy to hold as reserves an amount in the region of £12,000, this has increased slightly from the previous year to account for the increase in costs throughout the year. This reserve is to be kept in the event of fundraising income ceasing, this level of reserves would give the school sufficient funds for a year to cover existing commitments.
The current level of free reserves is £21,695.47. The level of reserves can fluctuate, depending on the timing of when the school carries out particular spending. During the Autumn Term 2025 the Trustees will be in conversation with the school to discuss future spending requirements.
Restricted Funds
See Note 1 on Page 3.
Approved by the Trustees on 13[th] September 2025 and signed on their behalf by:
