My work has been undertaken so that I might state to the charity's trustees those matters l am required to state to them in this rèport and for no other purpose. To the fullest extent peimitted by law, I do not accept or assume responsibility lo anyone other than the charity and the charity's trustees as a body, lor my work, lor this report, or for the opinions I have formed. Re5ponsibllities and basis of report As the trustees ol the charity yo*J are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordancè with the requirements of the Chariiies Act 2011 I'ihe Act'l. I report in respect ol my examinatlOA of the charity's account5 carried out under section 145 of the Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 14515llbl of the Act. An independent examination doos not involve gathering all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently does not cover all the matters that an auditor considers in giving their opinion on the accounts. As such, the Trustees ensure that the grants and activities of the Charity are for public benefit. The pre-school is for the benefit of prè-school age children from the local area. Obj•ctlve5 of the Charlty At The Centre Pre-school we enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age in a parent-involving, commLJnity-based group. We provide a sale, secure and stimulating environment. We work within a framework whbch ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families. Actlvlti•s and Achievemehts of thè Charity Children's grant funding was received from Essex County Council Early Years for 2-, 3- and 4-year old children. Early Years Pupil Premium for disadvantaged 3- and 4-year-old children was receivèd Irom Essex County Council which enabled us to purchase equipment and provide support to benèfit the children's education.

Expenditure decreagèd during 2025 £126,242 12024.. £131,OSOl this was primarily due to the impart of Fence répair work5 and incrpased accountancy fees in the prior year.
