As such, the Trustees ensure that the grants and activities of the Charity are for public benefit. The pre-school is for the benefit of prè-school age children from the local area. Obj•ctlve5 of the Charlty At The Centre Pre-school we enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age in a parent-involving, commLJnity-based group. We provide a sale, secure and stimulating environment. We work within a framework whbch ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families. Actlvlti•s and Achievemehts of thè Charity Children's grant funding was received from Essex County Council Early Years for 2-, 3- and 4-year old children. Early Years Pupil Premium for disadvantaged 3- and 4-year-old children was receivèd Irom Essex County Council which enabled us to purchase equipment and provide support to benèfit the children's education. The pre-school did fundraising and over the year we raised a total £100. This was obtained through our Pl fundraising day. Financlal posltlon Year ended 2025 saw an increase in income £121,03812024.. £99,414} due to pupil numbers increasing. Expenditure decreagèd during 2025 £126,242 12024.. £131,OSOl this was primarily due to the impart of Fence répair work5 and incrpased accountancy fees in the prior year.
