Activities

Venture Trust helps people, who, because of their life experiences, are marginalised, disadvantaged, chaotic or vulnerable, to recognise what they need to change, then gives them the confidence, motivation and lifeskills they need to make those changes. At the heart of its work, Venture Trust gives people time, space, challenge and intensive personal development support in wilderness settings.

Objects: (A) The Advancement Of Education, Through The Provision Of Programmes Of Personal And Social Development To People, Aged Over 16 Years, By The Participation In Community And Outdoor-Based Education, Adventure Activities And Learning Thereby Assisting In Developing Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Overcome Disadvantage And In The Interests Of Social Welfare (B) To Support The Prevention Of Offending And Rehabilitation Of Individuals Addressing The Underlying Causes Of Offending And Enable Them To Become Responsible Members Of Society So That Their Conditions Of Life May Be Improved (C) To Assist People, Aged Over 16 Years, To Benefit From Further Training Or Education, Work Experience Or To Enter Employment (D) To Assist And Encourage People, Aged 16 And Above, Who Have Need By Reason Of Their Social And Economic Circumstances, To Develop An Ability To Participate In Society As Mature And Responsible Individuals. (E) To Promote And Conduct Research Into Personal And Social Development And Wilderness/outdoor-Based Development Programmes, And To Identify The Developmental Needs Of People And Social Conditions Affecting People And To Publish Results And Insights (F) To Promote Or Benefit Such One Or More Purposes Or Institutions As Shall From Time To Time Be Charitable By English Law?
