Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
St Paul’s Cathedral School Association runs
a wide range of events both to raise funds
for the school’s ‘nice to have’ and to provide
social opportunities for the pupils, parents
and staff.
These include regular events like cake sales
and discos, plus annual community events
such as the quiz night and summer fair.
These events are planned and volunteered
by the committee, paying regard to
appropriate safeguarding and risk
assessments.
This year the committee approved several
requests for donations from the school.
These include:-
£3,868 plus the cost of compost for planters
£3,000 for Christmas treats for the whole
school
£1,256 for filming of the Pre-Prep Nativity
plays
£5,000 for an AV unit for the school hall
Fundraising activities included termly cake
sales, second-hand uniform sales and the
summer fair, plus revenue from a raffle held
at the summer fair and at Easter.
We also received commission from the sale
of pupil-drawn Christmas cards and from
Easy Fundraising and Easy to Name labels.
Regular income includes an (optional)
subscription from each family per term of £5.
The work of SPCSA helps to fulfil our
objectives of fundraising for the school and
bringing the school community together
socially. We have endeavoured to ensure
that PTA funds benefit each child throughout
the school, enhancing and enriching the
pupils’ educational experience at St Paul’s
Cathedral School.
