## **Achievements and Performance** 

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|St Paul’s Cathedral School Association runs<br>a wide range of events both to raise funds<br>for the school’s ‘nice to have’ and to provide<br>social opportunities for the pupils, parents<br>and staff.<br>These include regular events like cake sales<br>and discos, plus annual community events<br>such as the quiz night and summer fair.<br>These events are planned and volunteered<br>by the committee, paying regard to<br>appropriate safeguarding and risk<br>assessments.<br>This year the committee approved several<br>requests for donations from the school.<br>These include:-<br>£3,868 plus the cost of compost for planters<br>£3,000 for Christmas treats for the whole<br>school<br>£1,256 for filming of the Pre-Prep Nativity<br>plays<br>£5,000 for an AV unit for the school hall<br>Fundraising activities included termly cake<br>sales, second-hand uniform sales and the<br>summer fair, plus revenue from a raffle held<br>at the summer fair and at Easter.<br>We also received commission from the sale<br>of pupil-drawn Christmas cards and from<br>Easy Fundraising and Easy to Name labels.<br>Regular income includes an (optional)<br>subscription from each family per term of £5.<br>The work of SPCSA helps to fulfil our<br>objectives of fundraising for the school and<br>bringing the school community together<br>socially. We have endeavoured to ensure<br>that PTA funds benefit each child throughout<br>the school, enhancing and enriching the<br>pupils’ educational experience at St Paul’s<br>Cathedral School.<br>From 01 September 2023 to 31 August 2024<br>the PTA:<br>Received: £21,431.28<br>Spent: £21,153.03<br>Remaining: £278.25|
