Age UK Plymouth provides all the catering requirements Wlthin the STCC and this includes, breakfast, dinner and an evening provision. In the year ended March 31512024 Age UK Plymoulh provided packages of care to 567 patients being discharged from the STCC, Mount Gould or Derriford Hospital. This &quales lo 6,648 hours of support enabling a smoother tran311ion home and a r8ductlon in the pressure exerted on NHS $grvic8s across the City. The support provided lo thos8 in need cannol be underestimated. Veterans S Age UK Plymouth has been fortunate lo have recelved fin8nclal support from the Armed Forces Covenant Trust and Ihls year Introduced a counselling and wellbeing support service for Vetèrans over th8 age of SO livlng or working in Plymouth. This free and friendly service has been provlded lo halp Veterans access the 5UPPOrt they require to build and maintain good mental heatth. In addition, the Charlty has b88n proud lo fgcilitalg the Induslon ol a Vglerans Pain GllnSc and a Veterans Games Aftgmoon. The Charity saw 3,658 Veterans attendances across the year with 2,167 attending 'Sticky Bun. momings on a Tuesday.
