PATTISHALL PARISH HALL ASSOCIATION Registered charity number: 278360 TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2022
Reference and administration
Principal address: School Road, Astcote, Northants, NN12 8NN Trustees: G Edmonds resigned 7-10-21 J Mytton appointed 7-10-21 S Raper C Beddows-Leach
Structure, governance and management
The Charity is governed by a Trust Deed adopted in 1978 and revised in May 2014.
The Hall is run by a Management Committee.
Objectives and activities
The object of the Charity is to operate and run a Parish Hall.
The Hall is run for the benefit of all the inhabitants of the Parish of Pattishall and is also available for hire by those living outside the parish.
The trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.
Achievements and performance
The Hall has had another stop-start year due to the on-going Covid pandemic, opening whenever possible, in line with existing government guidelines, for those who chose to use it. Hopefully now usage is returning to normal with most prior users returning full-time as well as other new users.
There have been no serious incidents during the year.
Financial review
The Charity’s principal source of income is normally from hiring fees and fund-raising, however very little fund-raising has been possible. This year again Covid related government grants were also significant. The grants received were generally calculated within bands, dependent upon rateable value of the premises, not loss of income.
The Charity holds its funds in bank and cash balances. The aim is to hold approximately 12 months of normal expenditure in unrestricted general funds, to cover on-going maintenance and running costs. At the year-end the unrestricted general funds less amounts due were at about this level.

Future Plans
In the immediate future there are no big plans, other than on-going maintenance and, hopefully, a return to fund-raising events for all. In the longer term some further development is planned.
The Trustees declare that they have approved the report above.
