Over the years the average age has increased, covering a wider range of ages, but still attrncting rnem￿rs in their teens Public Benefits The Iruslees have paid due regard to guidance given by the Charity Commission on Public Benefit tn dcciding what activities the charity should undertake. During a nornial y¢ar: the activilies undertaken to achieve the aims of the Group are- 3 Major Concerts each year involving the full Choir and Orchestra organised by the Group as ticketed events for the general public at venues with a typical capacity of 700 seats. 4 CommuDity Concerts each year involving a small group of players and singers at events organised by other chariti¢s lo help them rnise funds for worthy ¢auses. Cholr section numbers continue to rdise Concern because often members cannol commit to all concerts or rehearsals and therefore singers from other chotrs are increasingly having to be called upon in order to meet the numbers required for a perfonnance. The orchestra also has to manage the availability of players but in gencrdl has been successful in attrdcting new membets.
