Charities Activities and Achievements during the year in relation to its objectives:
The Trustees continue to hire the village hall and its grounds to clubs, societies and local organisations. Many hirers are long standing and all serve the local community.
Work Planned for 2021-2022
Much of the work for 2021/22 was carried over from the previous year but we did manage to complete the following planned work:

Renew the fascia`s, soffits and gutters.

Assist in creating a community garden at the rear of the building.

Renew fencing to the right of the main gate.
Work Planned for 2022- 2023

continue to upgrade all lighting throughout the site to low consumption LED.

upgrade boiler and heating controls to reduce energy consumption.
-
replace the security door and frame providing access to the first and second floors.
Many of the clubs and societies using the hall are still struggling to build their membership back to pre-covid levels and we have continued to support them through reduced fees. This has had a detrimental effect on our income and will force us to keep expenditure to essential work only for the coming year.
