There are also volunteers that assist with hall bookings, accounts, administration and ensuring the Hall is open as required by Hirers.

The Charity was set up by a Conveyance and Trust Deed dated the 18th August 1976.

During this financial year the Hall has begun to be hired more frequently as the parish has started to get back to normal after the pandemic. During the financial year, the Hall received grants from the District, the Parish and County Councils. This has enabled the improvement/extension works to the entrance area and in particular upgraded toilets. The works were completed In March 2022.

The Hall is regularly used by local groups including dog training classes, a bowls group and the local WI group. There are also regular hirings including parties and occasional weddings.

The charity tends to have reserves of approximately £12,000 pounds each year. The majority for this financial year has been grant income specifically for the improvement works. The secondary source of income is hire fees.

The total income was £63,363 and the total outgoings were £44,335. The bank balance at 31st March 2022 was £19,028.

The accounts have been examined by a local business owner and signed off with one recommendation. The charity has set up utility bills by Direct Debits and hope to facilitate the paying of invoices by online with at least one other payment approver in addition to the Treasurer in the financial year 22/23.
